KCP is wonderful thanks to the office staff and teachers.

Joshua from 2013

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The group sessions and the associated field trips were my favorite part of the course the high speed review was extremely helpful before going into normal classes. The Hakone trip was a lot of fun.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The home stay was the most productive in terms of improving my speaking and listening. I feel like more activities that encourage friendships between students of different nationalities may aid Japanese skill acquisition and retention.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

If you want to improve your conversational skills don't hang out with people who speak your language.

Any other comments or suggestions?

Testimonials

KCP is a great school and you can learn a lot here if you put in the work. Expect to study a lot, and expect teachers to be strict when grading, especially in levels 1-4. There will be days when you don’t think you’re getting any better, but that’s usually because the classes are always going to be challenging. That’s a good thing.
